Charity Support

Nyama Catering truly believes in giving back to Africa what we have taken from it... We could never erase the past but we can hope to build a better future for our children.

Since 2004 Nyama has been actively supporting the Nelson Mandela's Children fund, Starfish and The FW de Klerk Foundation through sponsoring the SA Golf day held annually at Foxhills Golf Club. Every year we will do some very nice Boerie (succulent south african sausages) rolls and Spit Roast some succulent lamb . Everybody thoroughly enjoys and all the proceeds goes safely back to Africa!

In 2010 Nyama also began supporting TransCape, a charity based in Rural Eastern Cape (Transkei), one of the poorest areas of South Arica. Transcape is an unique organization as its based in the area where it is active and managed by the people living there, supported by international volunteers and expertise. So basically a charity FOR the people, BY the people with a little help from outside. Brilliant!

Nyama supports the Education Program at TransCape as we are firm believers that the future of our country is firmly in the hands of the youth.
